Registering for Content Specialty Tests (CST) 

• Identify the CST(s) you need to complete for certification. Not sure of which ones? Check on the NYSED Search Certification Requirements under your content + certification.

• Register to take the exam on the New York State Teacher Certification Exam (NYSTCE) website

• Identify study aids that can assist you to prepare to take and pass the exam(s)

  • Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Private Test Prep Books

  • Undergraduate/Graduate School of Education programs may have CST prep/resources
